The production meets the demand automatically, MECALUX EASY SYSTEM
This intelligent warehouse adapts the distribution needs to the production possibilities and production pace, which allows for a production that’s adapted to the demand requirements of different clients. This is done with specific software, the MECALUX EASY system, Mecalux´s own management system. Mecalux has designed, developed and produced all elements that intervene in this warehouse: the control and management software, the clad racks, the stacker cranes, the transporting, palletising and communication systems, as well as the fire protection system and the necessary covers. Moreover, this new equipment has anthropomorphic robots, robots that have an adjustable configuration that allows them to access obstacle zones easily. The total capacity of the warehouse is 25.200 pallets on entrance, of 1,500 and 2,300mm height, equivalent to 28,000 pallets on leaving, after a transformation of the pallets from 2,300 to 1,500 by an anthropomorphic robot, which automatically adjusts them to the size requirements of the client’s orders. Nowadays 3.300 pallets can be housed and worked 24 hours. For that there is a clad rack warehouse, run by stacker cranes which are coordinated and directed by the MECALUX EASY system that is connected with the company’s ERP.
